I purchased a Barnstormer and have taken it
for a quick spin.
The plane was packaged in a simple box with
a clear plastic "window." Upon opening the package,
I was skeptical. The plane did not seem to have the same quality
and attention to detail that their Chopper
Command product did.
After a little assembly, I had the plane together.
I was still skeptical. I noticed that the plane was devoid any
elevator controls. How did you make it go up and down? The cord
that connected the plane to the tower is simply a power cord to
for the propeller.
To make a long story short, "this ain
't no Dareplane." I never did get it off the ground. The
bulk of the connecting cord seemed to make the plane fly in strange
directions. Even if I could have gotten the plane aloft, There
was no way to make it loop or dive. The plane is totally dependant
on speed to get it off the ground. Perhaps bending the wings could
get it off the ground.
Disappointed, I put the plane away. For 15
bucks, maybe it's worth it.... Naaaw its not. This thing doesn't
even come close to a Dareplane. Totally the opposite of Chopper
Command. What a shame. I wish Jasman would have put more effort
into this product.
Oh well.
