The Kaypro II contained 64K of RAM.  In addition, video RAM and system PROM could be banked-in

The system PROM overlaid lower memory upon boot-up (and when specifically selected by software)

The PROM contained loader and CBIOS support code (CBIOS used PROM to manipulate hardware)

The PROM, could be bank-selected via software control

CBIOS routines were loaded from the disk into high memory (standard with CP/M machines)

Video memory was banked selected along with the PROM code
